| Società Numismatica Italiana is
active on many fronts to advance the knowledge of
numismatic education and related sciences. In the first place, it
brings out every year Rivista Italiana di
Numismatica e Scienze Affini, one of the top numismatic
publications at domestic level as well as
worldwide.
In recent years it
started up the publication Collana
di Numismatica e Scienze Affini, a collection of
monographic studies.
The Association
brings out, at four-monthly intervals, the brochure Comunicazione, through which its Members
are given information on the publications
received by the library (for some of them even a
review is available), on the resolutions of the
Members’ Meeting, on exhibitions and
conferences: this brochure is being distributed
to Members only.
The various yearly
issues of Rivista Italiana di Numismatica e
Scienze Affini, as well as the volumes
appeared until now of Collana di Numismatica
e Scienze Affini can be purchased from Società Numismatica
Italiana.
On the occasion of
the International Show of Numismatics, which is
held annually in Vicenza, Società Numismatica
Italiana also organizes a
workshop focusing on a specific
subject, which is attended by the most important
scientific authorities on this field.
Finally, it
institued a roll of honour, whose members are the
most important and world-wide famous researchers
of numismatics.
